Charge.com Review

The economic crisis in America has affected people from all walks of life. And while most are just realizing how bad it is now, my business went under almost four years ago due to a carefully hidden interest clause that stipulated no matter how well my business went, I would have to pay a 17% increase in interest for each year in operation. And if that wasn't bad enough, they suddenly came up with a whole book of extra charges when I decided to update my business.
I leased a 3,500 square-foot billiard room that had a diner in the front. I started to do very well selling pool supplies to people interested in learning the game, but as far as the food went, hungry people weren't paying the bills. After the spiking rates, I simply couldn't afford to keep my business open any longer. I packed it up and called it quits before it was officially taken away. I didn't quit on my idea, however, and started an online business selling billiard supplies.
It was hard to find the right combination of marketing and supplies to sell. Billiards has a huge niche, but customers also have thousands of places to shop at. I needed to offer better rates, quicker shipping, and a few payment solutions that would allow anyone to purchase from my site. To handle my payment options, I chose Charge.com. The first thing that impressed me about Charge.com was that there was no fee at all to sign up and install the software. They gave away $395 worth of software for no charge.
Another strong selling point in my mind was the fact that every aspect of payment was handled by Charge.com. As a merchant, you don't have to understand how credit card processing works; simply let Charge.com give you their free software, and you're good to go. I sold over $7k worth of billiards supplies in my first two months of operation, and I haven't slowed down since. I've since included entire pool tables, simonis cloth, high-end accessories, and entire bar kits.
Charge.com's software allows for immediate transaction processing, it's safe and secure with a massive encryption, the web-based terminal is constantly monitored and updated, you can accept all major credit card types, and there is absolutely no paperwork, startup or application fees. Charge.com will even throw in a free ecommerce shopping cart and free search engine submission when you choose their services.
You can set this system up in as little in 5 minutes. It actually took me longer, due to the fact I was completely computer illiterate. I simply phoned in for help and was walked through the process by their support staff. Charge.com is charging 25-cent per transaction, $10/monthly for statements, $16.95/month internet processing software fee, and offering a 2.25% and 1.79% discount rate on Internet/mail/phone orders and retail rates respectively.
You can apply in about a minute by simply filling in your name, your business' name, and your email address. After that, Charge.com will contact you and you can start to get the software installed on your site. Even for someone like me who isn't computer savvy at all, Charge.com made my transition into net business quick and painless.
